Ashley Izuegbunam

CMSW, LMHP

I'm Ashley Izuegbunam, a licensed therapist with almost a decade of experience in the mental health and social work fields. My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. As I pursued my career, I was driven by a desire to challenge myself and help others achieve their goals of mental wellness.

Throughout my years of experience, I've worked in diverse settings, including foster care, domestic violence and sexual assault, medical social work, and school social work. This broad range of experience has equipped me with a unique understanding of the complexities of human service.

In my practice, I prioritize authenticity, empathy, and relationships. I believe that each individual's journey is unique, and I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I'm also skilled in using sand trays as a therapeutic tool and have completed training in the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) process for clients aged 18 and younger.

I'm excited to collaborate with you on your journey towards healing and personal growth. Together, we can work towards building resilience, developing coping strategies, and fostering a sense of hope and optimism.
