Dr. Ian Stephens
Dr. Ian Stephens is a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience providing behavioral health services to families in the Omaha Metro area. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and his master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Montana, Missoula. Prior to his relocation to Omaha in 2014, Dr. Stephens was an adjunct professor of psychology at the University of Idaho where he ran an undergraduate internship program and taught several introductory and advanced psychology courses. Dr. Stephens moved to Omaha to complete his clinical predoctoral internship at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health. He would then go onto complete his postdoctoral fellowship in assessment and evaluation which led to his position as a staff psychologist. Dr. Stephens’ work included extensive collaboration with educational and medical professionals throughout the metro and he has served on several multidisciplinary evaluation teams and an interdisciplinary neurodevelopmental team.
Dr. Stephens specializes in the comprehensive assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults. He has over a decade of experience conducting psychological assessments with individuals ages 5-80+ with a focus on children and adolescents. His practice is tailored to evaluations of individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, behavioral disorders, and learning disabilities. Dr. Stephens’ goal is to provide compassionate, personalized assessments that aid with diagnostic clarity and provide clients and their families a path toward success.
