Suzanne Schofield
LIMHP, LADC
I'm Suzi Schofield, a licensed therapist with 7 years of experience in the field of mental health and 15 years of expertise in addiction-related issues. As a compassionate and experienced guide, I create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals of all ages – from infants to adults – can process trauma, addiction concerns, and a wide range of life adjustments.
My passion for therapy is rooted in my firm belief in the power of second chances and recovery. I've witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of therapy and am dedicated to providing a supportive space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences.
My approach to therapy is centered on evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which has been proven to be highly effective in teaching individuals skills to manage emotional regulation, handle stressful situations, and improve interpersonal relationships. DBT is particularly valuable for individuals struggling with emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, and self-destructive behaviors.
In my practice, I prioritize building strong rapport with each client, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment that fosters open communication and growth. I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and I'm committed to helping clients navigate this journey with ease and joy. I look forward to collaborating with you on your path towards healing, personal growth, and fulfillment.
