Michelle Fitzgibbon
With over 25 years of experience as a dedicated social worker, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across every stage of life. I began my career with 13 years in hospice care, where I developed a deep appreciation for the human experience, grief, and resilience. Since then, I’ve continued my work in a pediatric setting, helping children and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clinical skill.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University (2000) and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma (2006). My approach is grounded in the core values of the social work profession: client-centered care, empowerment, and a holistic understanding of how individuals interact with their environments.
I believe in building a therapeutic relationship based on safety, respect, and validation. By identifying existing strengths and making space for emotions, we can work together to develop effective skills for achieving personal goals.
