Shelby Clay, LMHP

I am a licensed clinical social worker and Omaha native with a passion for supporting individuals through some of life's most meaningful and challenging seasons. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, and my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I have four years of experience working as a mental health practitioner in the NICU, where I supported parents and families navigating perinatal mental health concerns, grief, and trauma. As a mom of two myself, I am especially passionate about working with moms and I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). I also enjoy working with high school aged adolescents through adults, and my areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is centered on meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them with compassion and support as they navigate their unique journeys.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children and volunteering at my church. These experiences ground me and shape my belief in connection, compassion, and walking alongside others through all seasons of life.
